If you miss serious contemporary international theatre, perk up your ears. Yes, we need you. If you are interested, please reply back to theatre@ajantrik.net mentioning the role (actor/ director/ stage-manager/ music/ choreography/ lights/ others) you are interested in. At the very least, we would request you to forward this message to as many State College residents as you know. Because we are a small community, we need everybody's help if we want to build a serious international theatre alliance.
Needed: Some dedicated souls who are willing to produce, direct, act, choreograph, direct music, bring life to stage with lights, or at least get involved in creating magic on stage!
Requirement: Loads of enthusiasm. First-timers welcome. No experience necessary.

We hope this effort can materialize into some sort of a international drama club and a long tradition of performances that will entertain the local population and give an opportunity to the residents to develop their (sometimes hidden) talents. Penn State has a great tradition of good theatre. Lets try to add some more diversity to it!
State College community has no dearth of skills, and theatre is the perfect medium for expression of everything - its an amalgamation of individual skills. Be it instrumental music, vocal music, classical dance, folk dance, painting, crafting, acrobatics, photography ... everything is needed for good theatre. Do you think, you can act? you should definitely join us. But that's not all. Do you think you have a good sense of rhythm, or good ear of music? The sound team will definitely need you. Do you think you have a good photographic sense, good composition and color balance and all those visual senses? You should try to paint the stage with lights and figures on stage. Do you think you can do at least slightly better than just dabble with paint, or create small handicrafts? Why don't you try to give the stage the feel it needs to have, the backdrop, the props, or even the makeup or costumes? Or, are you scared that you won't be able to perform ... but wish you could? Why don't you give it a try? You never know where your talents were hidden. Together we all can compose a beautiful poetry on stage.
We have plans for performing a set of short one-act plays by the end of summer. If you want to join us, please send a message.

Let us all, who are interested, get together and start working on theatrics.
